Valentine Glamour Makeup
To celebrate the month of love, I think it's a great excuse to wow your loved one(s) with this 'classic glamour' makeup look! We love this makeup because it's simply classy, easy to do and spells 'you're looking hot girlfriend!"
This look is perfect for that romantic dinner for two or a fun girl's night out! Below are the recommended delightful green beauty products to help you create this look:
Concealer: Choose a shade that is at least one shade lighter than your natural skin tone such as Ere Perez Amazing arnica concealer - Light/Medium. This Concealer is cream based and will help cover areas of redness, pigmentation or sun damage. The two light-medium tones help to reflect the variations in your skin. Apply under eyes or any areas where there are uneven skin imperfections.
Tip: Never put concealer or foundation on your eyelids as a base, it will cause your eye makeup to crease.
Foundation: For this look we recommend liquid foundation such as Ere Perez Oat Milk Liquid Foundation or Zuii Organic Liquid Foundation as it generally has greater coverage and is longer wearing. Choose a shade that is closest to your natural skin tone.
Tip: Use your fingers to apply foundation if you'd like sheer coverage and a brush if you prefer a polished, medium to full coverage.
Bronzer: After applying foundation, blend some Ere Perez Rice Powder Bronzer on your temple, hollows of your cheeks, and jaw bone to give a contoured effect. Next, if you'd like to add further definition, highlight areas of your face - use W3LL People Bio Brightener Stick on your cupid's bow, the bridge of the nose and upper cheekbones to define.
For this look, the cheeks should stay subtle. The bronzer should be sufficient as you don't want to over power cheeks and have them clash with bright lipstick.
Tip: You should apply bronzer on your neck, face, and chest to even out your skin tone. Be sure to take a step back and make sure everything is blended in the same colour.
Apply Zuii Organic Quad Diva Eyeshadow in Mist (lightest shade of the 4) over the base of the eye -work up to the eyebrows blending softly. Next, apply W3LL PEOPLE Hypnotist Eye Pencil Black - start at the inner corners with small dashes. Join them together blending out and use an angled brush such as La Mav Vegan Angle Brush for precision. Swiping the outer corners; sweep the angled side downward, in the direction of the lashes to create a small wing. Finish with Ere Perez Volumising waterproof mascara - BLACK.
Tip: Start lightly with eye liner as you can always retrace your steps a couple of times to achieve a thicker wing if preferred. With mascara, it is best not to do quick soft motions when you apply. Instead, push the wand into the root of the lash and do zigzag motions as you go up.
I have chosen 3 shades of red lipstick for it to work with different skin tones: Karen Murrell Lipstick Scarlet Blaze, Karen Murrell Lipstick Red Shimmer or Zuii Organic Flora Lipstick in Classic Red for an intense splash of colour. All three shades are beautiful, rich and luscious! Choose the shade that best works with your skin tone.
Tip: Apply some lip balm such as Vanessa Megan Lip Balm before the lipstick to add extra moisture and to give you a smoother application. Blot your first layer of lipstick on some tissue then reapply for added staying power!
